Due To Covid all meetings are suspended as long as Willamalane facilities are closed.

The Springfield Thunderegg Rock Club has been in existence for several decades; it was due to our Club's efforts that the Thunderegg was designated as Oregon's Official State Rock in 1965.  Meetings are held at the Willamalane Adult Activity Center, 215 West "C" Street, in Springfield, Oregon 97477 on the second Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m.  Guests are very welcome.   Donations of collections, specimens or rough materials to the Springfield Thunderegg Rock Club are greatly appreciated.   These donations are either sold to members, or the general public at our annual show in an effort to raise funds for our many philanthropic efforts.  Please contact the club for information at springfieldthundereggclub@gmail.com

Annual Scholarship to Youth
Rockhounding is a wonderfully healthy outdoor activity for families and we encourage youth participation;  to this end we offer an annual scholarship to a student in our local high schools.

Display in the Springfield Library
Our Club has a display in the Springfield Library. The display changes quarterly, so try to pop in and see the new one every few months.
